Wholistic Choices
I am a licensed Holistic Health Practitioner (1000+ hours of education and clinic experience) from the School of Healing Arts in San Diego. I have been doing therapeutic massage since 1995 both in San Diego and in Maryland (1999-2003). I have extensive experience treating clients with fibryomyalgia, chronic pain, tight muscles in the neck, shoulder, back, TMJ, headaches, and athletic/auto/other injuries. My massage techniques focus on releasing tight areas of the muscles (adhesions, scar tissue, trigger points) through the use of deep tissue, myofascial release (stretching the connective tissue around/in muscles), PNF stretching, rocking, percussion, and energy work. Clients are asked to breath deeply and let go, resulting in a deep sense of relaxation and openness in the muscles in the body.
